| The Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Mission is the sister church
to Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. It is named |
| after the famous saint who was beatified by Pope John XXIII
and canonized by Pope Paul in September 14, 1975. |
| Elizabeth Ann Seton was the foundress and first superior of
the Sisters of Charity in the United States. Born |
| August 28, 1774 to Episcopalian parents, in later years she
converted to Catholicism. Her vision of faith remains
|
| relevant for anyone and all ages. She was once quoted
as saying, |
| |
| "Faith lifts the staggering soul on one
side, hope supports it on the other, |
| experience says it must be and love says
let it be." |
