Pastor Appreciation Day October

The Women's Club put together a wonderful surprise for Father Pete, who had no idea of what was going on. After Saturday's Mass, he was asked to come to the social hall at the request of the Women's Club. He walked through the door and everyone started clapping. He was moved to see all of the people who came to show him how much he is appreciated. For all the sacrifices he makes, for all the hearts he uplifts, Saint Thomas Church thanks him with all of our hearts!

Father thanks everyone for this surprise welcome home. He talked about his incredible trip to Rome, and the message he was given to "Pray for the world."	Barbara Woodard, President of the Women's Club, tells father that this "Pastor Appreciation Day' was dedicated to him because of how much he means to the parish and how much he is admired.
